Cleaning the coils is a real thing. I do mine annually. I also clean the evaporator coil. But soft start is a good thing. The house has the power wall, I’m assuming it has the solar roof also. The soft start will be better for starting with solar. And yea, they can go bad. If thus happens you do what you need to. I want to install one in my HVAC. I am also in South Florida, 80 degrees is warm but not hot. It’s the middle of May now and today the high was 97 degrees. AC is life support. Preventative maintenance is what it is all about! Take care of your stuff, it will take care of you.

Awesome video! This helped me resolve a flow switch fault that arose after I replaced a leaking flow switch. The initial purge of the heat exchanger didn’t work, but a second purge with the system turned ON pushed out all the contained air. Thanks for your help!!

The men and women of the fire department are very brave. That ladder was not extended to its full height and it was still about 80 feet off the ground. Imagine when it is extended all the way and they are fully geared up. It scares me to even think about it. God bless them. When I moved to the Las Vegas valley, I was surprised to learn that fire departments were all paid, not volunteer like they are in most of Long Island. When I asked a group of firefighters who were shopping at the grocery store why the fire departments weren't a volunteer service, they said it wouldn't work because the departments wouldn't be able to find enough qualified people that would be willing to volunteer. How ignorant so many people are to the fact that one of the most densely populated areas of the country, Long Island, is predominantly protected by Heroic, Civic Minded, Proud, Professional..... men and women of the many local volunteer fire departments. Generations of family members choose to proudly and unselfishly serve their communities every day.
